Pear, Banana and Acai Berry Smoothies

The Smoothie is the ultimate everyday healthy treat. It tastes great and is packed with vitamins and nutrients to maintain your healthy weight.

One of the great things about the Smoothie is that you don’t have to worry about buying fresh fruit from the store. They are usually blended fresh fruit and some natural ingredients like Acai Berry and Apple to make the drinks healthy.

If you have never tried a smoothie with no ice in it, then you should check out a frozen yogurt. They are delicious, but if you eat a lot of ice cream, they really just taste like a pile of ice cream, right? A smoothie has no ice in it at all.

The Pear is one of the healthiest fruits on the planet. They are very low in calories and have plenty of fiber. They can be used to make any kind of smoothie you can think of.

You could go with the Pear and Anise on the Blend and enjoy a bit of pear every morning, or have a Pear, Lemon and Banana blended for a light and refreshing breakfast smoothie. Or maybe you want to have an Orange and Kiwi blended Smoothie.

Most of the recipes for the Smoothies that are out there will use some type of nice oatmeal base, or even a protein shake. There are some recipes that call for a Shaker bottle for a bit of extra sweetness. And of course you can always add a bit of the Kahlua or maybe even more Vanilla Ice Cream and you have a sweet smoothie.

They are healthy, and they taste great! It is hard to find a smoothie that doesn’t have an ice cream base in it. A pear and banana are a great sweet breakfast smoothie. Pear and Banana smoothies are my favorite because they are very filling, and tastes great with ice cream. If you would like a bit of extra sweetness, then add a small squeeze of vanilla ice cream. Or more exotic flavors like White Chocolate, Hazelnut, or Cinnamon can be added. Just keep in mind that you don’t have to use the Kahlua.

Serve them with a cup of coffee or tea and some fruit or granola. I like to dip whole grain crackers in a bit of olive oil and then I spread a bit of peanut butter on each. Then I serve them with a great summer garden salad.

So have you ever thought about adding a banana to your Smoothie? Who would have thought that you could add the same protein in the same way you do in the ice cream. This way you can have a fruity flavor, without the taste of a pound of ice cream!

Acai Berry and Apple Smoothies are great on their own, but if you also have a little shake with them, you will be well on your way to staying on track. Another great way to have the benefits of the Smoothie is to mix them with other healthy beverages.
